John graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Finance and started his career as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch where he assisted high net worth individuals with their investment portfolios. In 2003, John left Merrill Lynch to pursue his true passion which is real estate. Since 2003, John has run both a successful real estate investment company and a large residential real estate team. John is currently ranked in the top 1% of Realtors nationwide and is a sought after speaker within the Keller Williams Organization. John resides in Anne Arundel County with his wife of 14 years Nicole and their 3 children. John oversees all real estate brokerage operations of The Newman Group.
