Tyler McLay

Tyler developed his genuine interest in real estate and city growth dynamics even before purchasing his first investment property while still in high school. Combining this passion with a diverse finance background, that includes positions at TD Bank, Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment and Toronto Hydro, propelled Tyler to his current position as a successful Toronto realtor. His client portfolio sees the incredible value added through detailed knowledge and dedication to ongoing education. Tyler can adapt and see opportunity in almost any situation, ensuring focus on the ultimate goal is the true motivation. Consistently going above and beyond, a great deal of Tyler’s success in real estate this early in his career is based on referrals and repeat clientele due to his care, integrity and ability to listen and understand clients’ unique needs.

A contagious personality, admirable leadership qualities and always a team player, Tyler intends to add value in sales and negotiation elements of the real estate world, with creative and calculated approaches. With the impact the Schulich name projects and the MREI program under his already well decorated belt, Tyler intends to motivate and inspire while being a successful and valuable asset to a global real estate firm, eventually leading one of his own.

Outside of the classroom and negotiating multi-million dollar real estate deals, Tyler is committed to empowering and educating future leaders by mentoring business students at both city initiatives and undergrad program involvement. Tyler has an undergraduate degree in finance from Guelph University and a management diploma from Humber College.
